How Dallas-based Website Design Firm, Lovage Inc., approached a new, custom website design for Rogers, Arkansas-headquartered MEP and Structural Engineering Company, HP Engineering.
HP ENGINEERING Website "Before"
1. COMPLETELY NEW, MODERN WEBSITE DESIGN
Open, Airy, Architectural, Design Community, Negative Space
The Engineering firm needed a completely fresh approach.
Their services such as MEP and Structural Engineering, Lighting Design, and Energy Modeling support the architectural and construction community.
HP Engineering has 5 locations and they feel open and airy featuring high ceilings and creative space. The website needed to reflect their company and its industry in the same way their office space does.
2. SIMPLIFIED NAVIGATION
As Few Clicks As Possible
This is standard practice as attention spans become shorter and shorter. Information must be scannable and obviously navigable.
3. MEET CUSTOMERS AT EXPECTED PRESENTATION LEVEL
Your Website Should Match Quality Of Your Office Experience and Employee Presentation
Alignment across a brand experience establishes authority and trust. On your business website this means design, copy, and overall experience should match any other experience clients & customers have at touch points with your business.
If a potential customer has not yet engaged with you, personally - your business website may be their first impression. A company's website also serves as confirmation of offerings, experience, and quality for referrals and those making a hire choice between competitors.
"...Lovage Inc. has produced a sophisticated website that has elevated our business and has been well-received by our users. More potential customers have shared their interest in trying out our services upon seeing our improved platform." - Emily Waldenmeyer, HP Engineering VP
4. DATABASE CONTENT
Easily Updatable (by you, in-house!), Pre-Designed Spaces
Lovage Inc. designs websites which may be managed in-house, at your company, if you wish. For HP Engineering, this meant creating dynamic pages and display areas which connect to an easy-to-use backend database where content (photos, copy aka text, and links) may be uploaded into a sectioned database and the content automatically populates into the dynamic design.
This allows for easy addition, subtraction, and adjustment to content for HP Engineering staff, in-house.
