THE NEXT GENERATION OF
PRODUCTION TECH
The environment feels real
COMING SOON
A groundbreaking film production facility based around the concept of real-time media and immersive environments for film and television. A state-of-the-art sound-stage will be housed in full-service studio employing cutting-edge video displays and in-camera extended reality(xR).

FILMMAKING IN
ALL THE REALITIES

Extended Reality (xR) for live video production allows filmmakers to capture in-camera effects like never before by using real-time rendering technology, motion-tracking, and digital video displays to create virtual objects and environments that surround the talent and extend far beyond the soundstage.
Responsive matte painting enables a fast chance between background looks and environments. It also allows virtual backgrounds to be seen in-camera, providing real reflections of the backdrop in things like glass or water, natural lighting, and better reactions from talent.
Graphics and visual effects can be overlaid onto live camera feeds in real-time for applications ranging from video production to live events and presentations. In-camera AR can be used with or without the other parts of the xR workflow.

IN-CAMERA
VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS

xR TECHNOLOGY
Choreografx Studios will incorporate xR (extended Reality) technology into a sound-stage made of two high-resolution LED walls and a matching LED floor combined to create an immersive half-cube video display able to simulate 3D objects and environments that surround talent. When combined with in-camera augmented reality and motion-tracking, the results are truly immersive.

Extended reality (xR) for live video production allows directors to capture in-camera special effects like never before by using real-time 3D rendering technology to render virtual environments and objects on digital video displays behind the talent and extend them virtually in-camera. The filmmakers and the talent can immediately see the final results and make real-time changes, along with many other advantages.
REAL TIME
INTERACTIONS...
...WITHIN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
On most modern film productions, when a director needs to place actors or objects within a virtual environment, green-screen compositing is used. However, this process is both costly and imperfect.
...WITHOUT LIMITS
By contrast, the use of video displays to display immersive virtual environments in-camera carries numerous advantages. Actors are able to interact with real visual elements they can actually see, providing more realistic reactions and superior timing. And most importantly, it can be less costly than green-screen.
